Foaled 1943, bred by Owen Moon, Upwey Farm. His dam must have been sold while carrying him.
His sire, Upwey King Peavine, although registered as a Morgan, was actually a pure Saddlebred.
His dam, was Upwey Emerald Goldy, foaled 1930, bred in Illinois. Her sire, Emerald King 5491, was in actuality also a Saddlebred. The dam of Emerald Goldy was Canary Bird, registered with the A. T. R., the Standardbred registry.
Valley View King had only one registered get and comes down to today through some of the Teton/Tetonia prefixed Morgans.
