This stallion was a very important sire in the PNW.

Louise Bates was an Army Nurse who bred some lovely Morgans using mostly WWF Morgans of that area. Her names come from local Native American names. The dam of this stallion was an Old Midwest mare that went west.

Although bred in Washington state by Ira J. Cochran (the Mon Heir prefix), his parents were both Montana bred from old Montana lines used by Thomas Adams of Montana.
