1932 stallion
bred by N H Hite, Missouri
While this stallion did trace back to some Morgan blood, all American Saddlebreds at that time did so. He was bred by a Saddlebred breeder & was a Saddlebred. How he became registered under the old "X" rule as a Morgan, despite not actually qualifying for that rule, is a tale lost in time now. I have heard more then one story of how it came to be.
He was the sire of Upwey King Benn, sire of Upwey Ben Don, Upwey Benn Quietude, dam of Waseeka's Nocturne, and some others who come down to today.
