And do we see the pattern here when Elmer Brown bred Romanesque, who was bred by Richard Sellman, to daughters of Linsley? Yes, indeed! And it worked so very well. Linsley was out of Sunflower Maid who was sired by Headlight Morgan when he was in Kansas before he went to Sellman's in Texas. Romanesque was out of Mariah K. who was by Headlight Morgan.
Milo Measel was my grandfater’s mentor. He trained my grandpa’s horses and helped him with his small breeding program. I grew up riding a Plains King daughter out of one of grandpa’s mares. Such good memories.
