Rocky Bon 8/59 TMH

1949 stallion
sired a bunch
(Bonfire x Pikaki)

Bonfire--(Senator Graham x Luscious) 1946 stallion bred by L. U. Sheep Co., WY
Luscious--(Plains King x Black Dinah) 1940 mare, bred by L. U. Sheep Co., WY
Black Dinah x-05497--(Flyhawk x Dinah [unreg.] by Linspar)

Pikaki--(Highview King x Targhee) 1945 mare, bred by l. U. Sheep Co., WY
Highview King--(King De Jarnette x Sentola) 1940 stallion
Targhee--(Plains King x Sox) 1941 mare bred by L. U. Sheep Co., WY
Sox x-05490--(Linspar x Nancy [unreg] by Flyhawk) 1934 mare bred by L. U. Sheep Co., WY

A good example of the breeding of the L. U. Sheep Co. They started with mares who were by a son of Dan Patch, the famous harness racing horse. Then bred those to either Linspar or Flyhawk. They then added in other stallions over the years.

  1. Another flashy gorgeous Morgan that won like crazy in California. Very interesting. New about Dan Patch being in some morgans but didn't make the connection yet.
