The first Morgan I ever saw was Moro Hills Gay Ethan. I was about 9 years old. He was jet coal black and still the most beautiful Morgan horse I ever saw. His owner, trainer (Vic Soboleski) was blind but took me into the round pen and set me on the stallion - no saddle or bridle. A vivid memory - even 60 years later

Visitors are welcome to submit photos, both historical horses and their own aged horses. Please make the photos of reasonable size and make sure they are compressed. Include as much information as possible on each photo. Use this email addy--
I've been a student of the horse all my life and an avid reader of all sorts of books. I got into Morgans in 1979, getting my first Morgans in 1980 and then becoming a breed historian with published articles in various publications. I still have Morgans, and cats.
