I just stumbled upon your blog - In the early '70s, my father owned a Morgan named Roanoke Peter Ash. I remember Daphne Ashmore was listed in his pedigree. Seeing the name Roanoke Dana Darling makes me think that they must have been related. I would love to know more.

I've been a student of the horse all my life and an avid reader of all sorts of books. I got into Morgans in 1979, getting my first Morgans in 1980 and then becoming a breed historian with published articles in various publications. I still have Morgans, and cats.
