This blog is dedicated to the Old Morgan--either those who are long gone or those who are contemporary and aged. I will be posting photos of historical Morgans and my own aged horses. - I've been a student of the horse all my life and an avid reader of all sorts of books. I got into Morgans in 1979, getting my first Morgans in 1980 and then becoming a breed historian with published articles in various publications. I still have Morgans, and cats.

I just wanted you to know that I follow your blog and really, truly enjoy the photos you post. They are just eye candy. I wish there were more horses like this out there. I wish the Morgan breed didn't change so much. They are still lovely horses, but not what I think of when I think of a Morgan.

Thank you. There are still good Morgans out there but you will rarely find them in the pages of TMH anymore, which is sad.
