This blog is dedicated to the Old Morgan--either those who are long gone or those who are contemporary and aged. I will be posting photos of historical Morgans and my own aged horses. - I've been a student of the horse all my life and an avid reader of all sorts of books. I got into Morgans in 1979, getting my first Morgans in 1980 and then becoming a breed historian with published articles in various publications. I still have Morgans, and cats.

Now that mare is a nice all rounder. How many hands? I imagine no more than 15. There aren't many morgans in my area. Your photos are so educational. Love it.
