These photos were taken on our 1984 Vermont trip. She was 19 at the time. We got a daughter of hers, Ryegate Nubbinette, on that trip. Snubbers, as she was fondly known, looked like an image of Major's Nubbin, even to color. Snubbers' daughter, SSM Bessie Nekomia, has a colt, "Ray" who looks like Snubbers. One of Snubbers' many nicknames was Dinosaur. I sent a YouTube of Ray to my ex-husband, who replied upon seeing it--"Dinosaurs live forever"--how very true.
