Montey Vermont 11935

Prolific sire.

Back in the 1980's, I had written an article for TMH. This horse was mentioned in it. In the proof of my article, someone had changed his name to one of the other "Montey" Vermont horses--there was this one "MontEY", there was "MontE", and there was "MontY", all within a similiar time period. I had to phone back to the editor, Jamie Bloomquist, to tell him that I knew exactly which "Montey" I needed and that his people should not be trying to outguess me!
Note, that the photo caption of this 1959 photo spells his name wrong.
