Lippitt Scofield

Despite the Lippitt prefix, this horse was a half-Lippitt, since his sire was the Government stallion, Mansfield.

    This a picture I hadn't seen before, very cool. I love that you are doing this site/blog, being the history junkie that I am, this is awesome. I am very lucky to have a bunch of stuff from Ina and Joanne as well, so my own library coming along nicely with what I have collected on my own as well over the years. This is a treasure trove.
