Addition to Yesterday's Photos
The dam of the two horses shown yesterday, Mary RM, was one of the good Elmer Brown (of Kansas) bred Morgans. One of his main stallions was Romanesque, bred by Richard Sellman of Texas. When the letters RM appear in a name, that horse was sired by Romanesque. Another top stallion of Brown's was Linsley and when the letter L appears in a name, such as Daisy L, that horse was sired by Linsley.
Brown bred many fine Morgans who went on into many breeding programs. He must be considered one of the breed's Master Breeders.

Classy Boy

The Mosher Brothers ran cattle in Utah & bred Morgans as their working ranch horses. They were big men and liked a good sized, stout horse. The Brunk bred Condo filled the bill perfectly for them. They then bred mostly Western Working Family mares to him. Classy Boy became their next main stallion.
